Experience
Working with vivien
When you book a session with me, I want it to feel like spending time with a friend who just happens to have a camera. You don't have to know how to pose or worry about looking perfect. I'll be there to guide you every step of the way, while leaving room for the genuine moments that happen in between. Those little laughs, quiet glances, and carefree smiles are the moments I love most.
More than anything, I want you to walk away feeling seen. I want your session to be a place where you can relax, be yourself, and let your personality shine. My hope is that years from now, when you look back at your photos, you don't just remember what you looked like, you remember exactly how you felt in that moment, confident and completely yourself.

FAQ
01. What should I wear to my session?
I highly recommend wearing something with light colors! Lighter colors tend to complement my editing style the best, and they make you POP! Neutrals are always a safe bet but don't be afraid to incorporate some bolder colors.

02. What happens if there is bad weather?

If the weather isn't cooperating, we'll just reschedule. No big deal! I closely check the weather leading up to our session and will reach out if conditions aren't ideal. We'd reschedule your session ideally within 1-2 weeks of your original session date.

03. What time do sessions happen?

Because my photography specializes in natural light, I schedule all of my sessions during sunrise or sunset, or otherwise referred to as "golden hour." This is when the light is soft, warm, and flattering, creating the dreamy, timeless look you see throughout my portfolio.

04. What if I'm awkward in front of the camera?

You're not alone! I've had multiple clients express the same thing before their sessions. But don't worry! My approach is relaxed and interactive, focusing on genuine laughter, movement, and connection rather than stiff poses. By the end of your session, you'll feel much more comfortable, I promise.
